Frequently Asked Questions

Looking for answers? Can't find the answer you're looking for? Ask your question here and I'll post it in this blog.

Q. Why should I hire a Public Adjuster when my insurance company has already assigned me an Adjuster?
A. Insurance company Adjusters are looking out for their insurance company. When disaster strikes, you need an experienced and licensed Public Adjuster on your side, as your insurance company has their Adjusters working for them. Public Adjusters work for the property owner or managing association. They are backed by years of professional claims experience and will represent your claim to the insurance company. Call Zevuloni & Associates toll free at 1.877.938.8566 for a professional representation that will ensure a maximum amount from the insurance company to rebuild your property quickly.

Q. I sit on the board of directors for my condominium association and feel our board is getting nowhere with our insurance claim, what can I do?
A. Please contact our office for a free consultation. We would be happy to schedule a meeting (free of charge to the condo association) with the association's board members to discuss the issues surrounding the delay or denial of your insurance claim. We also understand the many personalities involved in working with a condominium association, including the board members, condo owners and contractors and therefore offer the necessary flexibility to get the insurance claim resolved as expeditiously as possible while working with the many role players.

Q. If my claim has been closed and settled by my insurance company, is it too late to hire a Public Adjuster?
A. Most likely it is not too late. Florida law allows up to five years to file a supplemental claim from the date of loss. If you do not believe you were paid the right amount, and would like us to review your claim, please contact us. We will carefully audit and analyze your claim. Our professional opinion is free of charge.

Q. I would like to hire a Public Adjuster but can't afford to pay. How can you help me?
A. We represent our clients on a contingency fee basis. This means we are paid for our services only if, and when, there is a recovery. We can prepare your new insurance claim for maximum benefit and avoid potential delays and “headaches” to the insured. You often have five (5) years from the date of your loss to file a new claim or supplemental claim.

Q. What does a condominium association insurance policy cover?
A. Only by carefully reviewing the condominium association insurance policy can one determine what is covered. Usually covered under this policy are the "common areas" of the building. Check with your association to see what is covered and what is not covered. The inside of your condo unit will not be covered by the condominium association insurance policy. The inside of your condo unit will be covered by your individual condo insurance policy.

Q. My claim was denied, am I entitled to a second opinion?
A. Absolutely! Many of our clients were told by their insurance company that their claim was denied. We review your policy details, the extent of the damage and the claim you filed originally. Based on the information we collect, we then reopen the claim, negotiate with your insurance company, and insist they pay for viable damages. Contact Zevuloni & Associates, PA for a complimentary review of your case.

Q. Does Zevuloni & Associates, P.A. handle condominium insurance claims and work with multi-home communities?
A. Yes, Zevuloni & Associates, P.A. offers free evaluation and consultation to the board members of the condominium association to discuss their insurance claim.
